KCCI: "2050 Carbon Neutrality, Actively Reflect Corporate Opinions"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) evaluated that the draft carbon neutrality scenario announced on the 5th should reflect the opinions of the business community.
On the afternoon of the 5th, KCCI stated regarding the announcement by the 2050 Carbon Neutrality Committee, a presidential advisory body, "We hope that the opinions of companies will be actively reflected in the future opinion gathering and discussion process."
KCCI explained, "Achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 is the direction our society must take, and companies recognize it as an unavoidable task. However, since the situations and conditions faced by companies vary by industry and size, solutions must be found through broad opinion gathering."
