Daejeon City Recruits 1,641 Workers for Hope Employment Project
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Daejeon City announced on the 5th that it will promote the Hope Work Support Project in the second half of this year.
The support project focuses on providing public jobs such as vaccine inoculation support and local economic recovery support. The number of workers to be recruited is 1,641 people participating in a total of 67 projects across 5 autonomous districts.
The support project will be carried out from next month, centered on projects discovered by autonomous districts, with a work period of up to 3 months and wages paid at the minimum hourly wage (8,720 won).
Eligible participants are residents aged 18 or older with work ability as of the project start date, with priority given to vulnerable employment groups and those unemployed or closed due to COVID-19.
Residents wishing to participate can check the project announcement of the autonomous district in charge of their address and then submit an application form and required documents.
