Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation, 70th Anniversary Special Exhibition
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation announced on the 3rd that it will hold a "70th Anniversary Special Exhibition" at the Currency Museum located in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, from the 3rd to July 5th.
The special exhibition will showcase 22 works of design, sculpture, and paintings by currency designers and sculptors including Jeon Young-yul, Kim Jong-hee, Son Hee-seung, Go Kyung-chul, and Nam Seung-won.

Jeon Young-yul, head of the Technical Research Institute at the Minting Corporation, said, "The special exhibition will be a rare opportunity to appreciate the artistic works of currency designers and sculptors," adding, "We hope it provides a chance to momentarily forget the frustrations accumulated due to COVID-19 and find mental relaxation."
