Suncheon National University Institute of Humanities Opens 'First Steps in Namdo Studies' Lecture
[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon National University (President Ko Young-jin) Humanities Institute announced on the 3rd that it will open the '2021 Namdo Studies First Step' lecture to revitalize lifelong humanities education for the residents of Namdo.
The Suncheon National University Humanities Institute was selected for this year's Residents' Happiness University 'Namdo Studies First Step' program contest project (specialized course) and will provide free 'Namdo Studies First Step' lectures to 40 Jeonnam residents.
The application period for students is until the 20th, and the lectures will be held face-to-face in the College of Humanities and Arts lecture room every Tuesday from around 7 PM to 9 PM, from the 31st to November 9th.
The curriculum aims for an in-depth approach to the history, culture, literature, religion, and ecology of the eastern region of Jeonnam, consisting of a total of 11 sessions including ▲10 theoretical lectures on Namdo Studies ▲1 exploration of Namdo national treasures and world heritage sites.
