Toss Opens Recruitment for Developers with Less Than 3 Years Experience... Coding Test Only, No Documents Required
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Toss announced on the 3rd that it will publicly recruit developers with less than 3 years of experience. To discover talented individuals with outstanding development skills and potential, all applicants will compete through a coding test without document screening.
Toss launched the '2021 Toss NEXT Developer Challenge' on the 2nd and began recruiting developers with less than 3 years of experience. Simultaneous recruitment is underway across four affiliates: Toss Core, Toss Bank, Toss Securities, and Toss Payments, with plans to hire up to 60 developers. The recruitment fields include ▲Android ▲iOS ▲Data Engineering ▲Frontend ▲Server ▲Internal Product Server ▲Web Automation, totaling seven areas. Any developer with less than 3 years of experience is eligible to apply.
The most distinctive feature of this developer recruitment is that all applicants compete through a coding test without document screening. This recruitment process actively encourages challenges from developers with relatively short experience but strong potential.
By the 11th, applicants can complete their registration by entering simple personal information, desired field, and preferred affiliate on the website. On the 14th, an online coding test will be conducted for all applicants. Those who pass the coding test will then submit necessary documents such as resumes and portfolios for interviews, followed by first and second-round interviews to select the final successful candidates. The entire process is conducted remotely, and successful candidates may join as early as September.
New hires will be offered industry-leading salaries, and depending on each affiliate’s policy, stock options or Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) will be granted. Additional cash welfare benefits such as performance bonuses, fitness allowances, congratulatory and condolence expenses, and meal allowances will also be provided.
Additionally, among developers with less than 3 years of experience who rank in the top 50% of the coding test results, 20 will be selected by lottery to receive a development support fund of 1 million KRW each.
