KT Launches 'Interactive Reservation Keeper' Service with Seoul National University Dental Hospital
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] KT announced on the 3rd that it has supplied the 'Interactive Reservation Keeper' service, which allows easy management of customer reservations, to Seoul National University Dental Hospital.
The Interactive Reservation Keeper service was jointly developed by KT and BC&Company, a venture company specializing in medical information data. The advantage is that it manages reservations through interactive messages and minimizes hospital losses caused by patient no-shows.
In particular, when the hospital sends a text message to the patient to confirm the reservation, the patient can easily reply via text message to request changes or cancellations of the reservation time. Also, the patient's reservation confirmation status is delivered to the hospital in real time, enabling quick responses to customers who need to change their reservations.
Seoul National University Dental Hospital conducted a two-month pilot operation of the Interactive Reservation Keeper service starting in June, and as a result, the number of reservation confirmation calls to the call center and the no-show rate significantly decreased compared to before, leading to the decision to officially adopt the service.
Hospitals that previously introduced the Interactive Reservation Keeper service also evaluated that it greatly improved hospital management efficiency through easy and convenient management of reservation patients, as well as high patient satisfaction in terms of convenience.
KT plans to expand the supply of the service mainly to large hospitals and specialized clinics with a high ratio of reservation patients, and will continuously improve the service by analyzing usage status and effects.
Gu Young, director of Seoul National University Dental Hospital, said, “The introduction of the Interactive Reservation Keeper service has brought us closer to patient-centered care,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to ensure that patients receive comfortable and safe treatment.”
