Seoul City Develops Beauty Attraction Experience Tourism 'Seoul Beauty Road'... Appoints Lee Sa-bae as Ambassador
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Seoul City, which has embarked on developing the "Seoul Beauty Road" themed around "Beauty," announced on the 3rd that it has appointed RISABAE, a beauty creator and famous makeup artist with 2.24 million subscribers, as the "Seoul Beauty Creator Ambassador."
The Seoul Beauty Road is a walking tour course where visitors can experience various beauty spots in Seoul that showcase the latest makeup know-how of Hallyu drama protagonists and K-pop singers, as well as K-beauty trends.
RISABAE, who was appointed as the ambassador this time, will participate in the development and promotion of the "Seoul Beauty Road" to promote Seoul’s sophisticated and differentiated beauty culture. The completed "Seoul Beauty Road" will be produced as vlog video content featuring RISABAE. It will be released in early September on RISABAE’s YouTube channel and Seoul Tourism’s YouTube channel.
Seoul City plans to nurture experiential beauty tourism that satisfies the five senses through eating, wearing, and applying as a new future growth engine for Seoul tourism, starting with the development of the "Seoul Beauty Road."
To reflect the recommendations of Seoul citizens for the first tourism course built around beauty, Seoul City will hold an online event from the 4th under the theme "Where do you think are Seoul’s beauty spots?" Participants can submit comments on the Seoul Beauty Road website, stating their chosen beauty spots in Seoul and the reasons why. Prizes such as luxury hotel accommodation vouchers (1 person), gift cards worth 30,000 KRW (50 people), and coffee coupons (100 people) will be given through a draw.
