LG Display Supports COVID-19 Screening Clinics with Air Conditioners and Supplies

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] LG Display announced on the 3rd that it has urgently provided heatwave relief supplies such as portable air conditioners, freezers, shade tents, and bottled water for medical staff at COVID-19 screening clinics.
LG Display explained that it has completed the installation of portable air conditioners, large fans, shade tents, and freezers to store ice towels near five COVID-19 screening clinics located near its business sites in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, and Gumi, Gyeongsangbuk-do. In addition, it plans to provide 20,000 bottles of ion drinks and bottled water throughout this month.
An LG Display official said, "We wanted to offer some help to the medical staff who are fighting tirelessly in protective suits despite the ongoing heatwave," adding, "We will continue to promote social contribution activities that can help the local community."

Earlier, in March last year, when the COVID-19 spread was severe in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, LG Display provided residential treatment centers for confirmed patients in the area. In addition, it has been engaged in various activities to overcome COVID-19, such as the 'Value Consumption Campaign' encouraging the purchase of local agricultural products and supporting children with disabilities.
