Acting Governor Ha Byeongpil and Superintendent Park Jonghun held a meeting on the 2nd at the acting governor's office in the provincial government building to review educational issues.
Acting Governor Ha and Superintendent Park checked cooperative projects between the two institutions and discussed creating a safe educational environment in response to the resurgence of COVID-19.
Since the inauguration of former Governor Kim Kyungsoo, the two institutions have established the 'Integrated Education Promotion Team' in October 2019 and have carried out various educational and administrative cooperative projects.
So far, the Integrated Education Promotion Team has promoted projects such as the Gyeongnam-style small school revitalization project, the establishment of future classroom model schools, and the creation of Gyeongnam-style school space innovation models.
In addition, in response to COVID-19, they have cooperated on jointly supporting business stabilization funds for closed academies, providing emergency care personnel using after-school instructors, jointly supplying hygiene kits for elementary students, prioritizing vaccination support for academy workers, and operating a task force for disinfection of unauthorized educational facilities.
