[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Changwon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 2nd that the Small and Medium Distribution Joint Wholesale Logistics Center located in Palyong-dong, Uichang-gu, was selected for the 'Small and Medium Distribution Fulfillment Pilot Project' announced by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
Fulfillment refers to integrated logistics management that handles product storage, packaging, shipping, and delivery all at once.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy is investing 3.5 billion KRW in national funds to support the development of hardware and software models for distribution logistics based in the regions for three small and medium distribution logistics centers in Changwon City, Bucheon City, and Pohang City.

Changwon City explained that through the pilot project, small and medium distribution companies such as neighborhood supermarkets will be able to handle multi-item small quantity orders, efficient inventory management, and rapid delivery, as well as plan and sell exclusive products linked to the local supply chain.
