P&G Appoints John Moller as New CEO, COO Transition Announced
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] American household goods manufacturer Procter & Gamble (P&G) has appointed John Moller (57), Chief Operating Officer (COO), as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), CNBC reported on the 29th (local time).
P&G announced that current CEO David Taylor will move to the position of Chairman of the Board, and COO Moller will take office as the new CEO this November.
New CEO Moller, a Cornell University graduate, has worked at P&G for 33 years, starting in 1988 in cost planning for the food division.
Taylor, who is moving to Chairman of the Board, led the company for six years since November 2015.

Sailesh Jejurikar, CEO of the Fabric and Home Care division, has been appointed as Moller's successor as COO.
