KG Group Conducts 'Love Blood Donation Campaign' to Practice ESG Management
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] KG Group conducted a 'Love Blood Donation Campaign' over two days, on the 27th and 28th, at KG Tower in Jung-gu, Seoul.
KG Group employees participated in the campaign to overcome the blood shortage caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and to practice ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.
The blood donation campaign will be regularized, and in the second half of this year, blood donation campaigns will be sequentially held at KG Group affiliate workplaces located in various regions. The blood donation certificates collected through the campaign are planned to be donated to the Leukemia Pediatric Cancer Association around the end of the year.
In particular, the story of Woo Sang-ho, Manager of the Corporate Culture Team at KG Inicis, who has donated blood 100 times, touched many hearts. On this day, he achieved his 100th blood donation, received the 'Blood Donation Merit Honor Award' from the Korean Red Cross, and had his name inscribed on the Red Cross Blood Donation Red Carpet 'Hall of Fame.'
Manager Woo said, "I hope many people participate in blood donation to give hope and courage to the local community and practice love."
