1.86 million subscribers for KakaoBank IPO... 58 trillion won in subscription deposits gathered
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] KakaoBank's public offering general subscription attracted subscription deposits totaling 58 trillion won. The number of participants exceeded 1.86 million.
On the 27th, the subscription deposits received by four securities firms for KakaoBank's subscription closing were tentatively tallied at a total of 58.302 trillion won.
The final combined competition rate was 182.7 to 1. By securities firm, Korea Investment & Securities had the highest rate at 207.4 to 1, followed by Hyundai Motor Securities at 178.0 to 1, KB Securities at 168.0 to 1, and Hana Financial Investment at 167.3 to 1. The total number of subscription applications across the four firms reached 1,860,044.
