KOSDAQ Turns Down Amid Foreign and Institutional Selling Pressure... Fluctuates Around '1040 Level'
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] The KOSDAQ index turned lower amid selling pressure from foreigners and institutions.
As of 2:49 PM on the 27th, the KOSDAQ stood at 1,045.97, down 1.66 points (0.16%) from the previous trading day. The index opened at 1,050.87, up 3.24 points (0.31%) from the previous day, but narrowed its gains in the afternoon and turned to a downward trend.
By investor type, foreigners and institutions led the decline with net sales of 84.1 billion KRW and 48.3 billion KRW, respectively. Individual investors were the sole net buyers with 136.8 billion KRW.
At the same time, the KOSPI was up 7.29 points (0.23%) from the previous day at 3,232.24. The index opened at 3,244.43, up 19.48 points (0.60%) from the previous day, continuing its upward momentum.

By investor type, foreigners and institutions were net buyers of 49.9 billion KRW and 272.4 billion KRW, respectively. In contrast, individual investors were net sellers of 322.8 billion KRW.
