[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] The Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KODIT) announced on the 27th that it selected 21 members for the 1st cohort of the ‘KODIT Together University Student Volunteer Group’ and held an inauguration ceremony at the KODIT headquarters on the 26th.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by KODIT executives and employees, as well as representatives from related organizations such as the Ansim 1st Comprehensive Social Welfare Center. The ceremony involved presenting appointment letters to the selected volunteers and sharing information about community service activities to be conducted together with KODIT.
The ‘KODIT Together University Student Volunteer Group’ is a regular university student volunteer program launched this year by expanding the pilot program that KODIT operated last year. The 1st cohort, selected this time, will carry out various activities divided into three areas?financial education, mentoring, and environment?from August this year to May next year, aiming to reduce educational gaps among local children and youth and to raise environmental awareness among local residents.
Meanwhile, KODIT plans to provide growth opportunities for the volunteers through regular meetings, including employment special lectures involving KODIT employees and various experiential activities. Outstanding participants will also be awarded certificates signed by the Chairman of KODIT.
