Police Arrests 20-Year-Old on Charges of Special Injury for Stabbing Company CEO with a Bladed Weapon
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A man in his 20s who stabbed a company CEO with a weapon has been arrested by the police.
According to the police on the 26th, the Suseo Police Station in Seoul apprehended employee A (28) on charges of special assault.
A is accused of stabbing the company CEO in the neck and head with a weapon on the 5th floor of a building in Dogok-dong, Gangnam-gu, at around 8:55 p.m. on the 22nd.
After the crime, A reportedly caused a disturbance by sitting on the building railing, threatening to take extreme measures. During the police investigation, A stated that he made many mistakes at the company and was trying to talk to the CEO, but when the CEO showed irritation, he experienced a panic attack.
The victim was transported to the hospital and is reported to be in a condition without life-threatening injuries.
