Tackling Difficult Questions Smoothly... KB Securities Applies AI to Internal Chatbot
Able to Verify and Answer Untrained Questions Independently
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] KB Securities is introducing more advanced artificial intelligence (AI) to its internal work response chatbot. It is expected to be able to understand and respond to somewhat difficult questions.
On the 26th, KB Securities announced that it will enhance the performance of its internal work response AI chatbot 'Talk KB' by adding features such as Deep Question Answering (DeepQA) and Machine Reading Comprehension (MRC).
The DeepQA function uses AI-based natural language processing to understand user queries and provide answers. MRC is a technology that enables computers to quickly comprehend given documents and find optimized answers to user questions.
Previously, 'Talk KB' only provided answers based on trained tasks, but with these enhancements, it is expected to understand questions on its own and provide answers. Additionally, by utilizing MRC technology, it can search for information in large volumes of documents such as work guidelines, enabling it to answer questions about untrained or previously unprepared content independently. This technology is actively being used in the recently added 'Internal Regulation Search' service within 'Talk KB' at KB Securities.
Jang Seungho, Head of Digital Innovation Division at KB Securities, said, "We are striving to create an environment where employees can focus on high value-added tasks through internal services utilizing various AI technologies," adding, "We will continue to do our best to enable employees to quickly experience rapidly advancing digital technologies and lead a smart working culture."
