Accordingly, Shinil's cumulative fan shipments this year recorded 1,544,721 units.
According to Shinil, fan shipments during the period in July amounted to 402,895 units, which translates to 17,517 units per day and 729 units per hour (12 units per minute). In particular, for air circulators, the daily shipment alone was 6,637 units, which corresponds to 276 units sold per hour.
Shinil analyzed that the cause of sales growth was the extended time spent at home due to the heatwave and the increase in remote work and online classes following the escalation of social distancing measures. In fact, more than a quarter of this year's cumulative shipments were shipped in July.
In particular, the company explained that the newly renewed air circulators, launched alongside fans this year, are actively selling through home shopping and online and offline channels. They are receiving positive responses from consumers due to their advantage of not only cooling effects but also circulating indoor air.
