Hong Jun-pyo on Lee Jae-myung's Swearing Video Being Made Private: "The Swearing King Candidate... The Height of Shamelessness"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Seoyoung] Hong Joon-pyo, a presidential candidate from the People Power Party, criticized the 'swearing file' of Gyeonggi Province Governor Lee Jae-myung, which was handled confidentially.
Today (24th), Hong posted on his Facebook, "It is said that the new swearing video of candidate Lee Jae-myung directed at his sister-in-law was blocked due to a provisional injunction application by Lee's side," and continued with strong criticism such as "An absurd court decision" and "A shameful Democratic Party presidential candidate."
Hong further stated, "The privacy rights of public figures should be minimal," and criticized, "How could he think of running for president while trying to conceal facts that clearly exist? This is the height of shamelessness." He also sarcastically remarked, "If a country elects a swearing king as its presidential candidate, it might be fortunate for us, but it would be a topic for overseas news."
Earlier, on the 20th, a video titled '[Transcript] Lee Jae-myung Swearing File 01.mp4' was uploaded on the YouTube channel 'Back Briefing.' The video contained Lee's swearing, but currently, when accessing the YouTube URL, a notice appears stating that the content is unavailable in the country's domain due to a court order, making it impossible to play the video.
