Gyeongsan-si New Public Officials' 'TongTongTong Meeting' … Union-Hosted 'Communication Festival'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Dong-guk] Gyeongsan City announced that on the 23rd, it held the 'Newly Appointed Public Officials Communication, Harmony, and Competence Meeting' at Gyeongsan Dongui Hanbang Village, organized by the Public Officials Labor Union.
This meeting, conducted in accordance with social distancing quarantine guidelines, was held to create a space for communication between senior and junior public officials, with about 20 participants including 15 newly appointed officials this year and union executives.
Starting with a warm welcome from Choi Yong-gu, the head of Dongui Hanbang Village, attendees introduced themselves as newly appointed officials and engaged in free conversations between senior and junior public officials, fostering a time of communication. After the meeting, participants also enjoyed a healing time by taking a foot bath, making herbal cosmetics, and walking around Dongui Hanbang Village.

Park Mi-jung, the union chairperson, said, "Although the first step in public service was difficult due to the COVID-19 crisis, I hope the path ahead will be a flower road shining even brighter because of the tough start," and urged, "Please become public officials who fulfill their duties and responsibilities as sincere servants to the citizens."
