According to the Tourism Foundation on the 23rd, the Development Council consists of 10 members from 10 organizations including Gangwon-do, Sokcho City, Korea Tourism Organization, academia, and private cruise companies. They plan to discuss ways to revitalize the Gangwon cruise industry once every quarter.
At the inauguration ceremony held the previous day (22nd), the Development Council shared domestic and international cruise trends such as the current status of the province's cruise industry, attraction marketing strategies, challenges for the Gangwon cruise industry in the post-COVID-19 era, and held a free discussion to explore future directions.
