On the 23rd, KakaoBank announced, "Since the service opened at 9 a.m. on the 21st, 170,000 people have made inquiries over two days, and 58,000 cases of dormant deposits and insurance money have been paid to the rightful owners." Customers retrieved an average of 30,381 KRW per person in dormant deposits and insurance money, with the highest payout amounting to approximately 9.1 million KRW.
