Cleon is a company that possesses 'Deep Human,' a deep learning-based video and voice generation technology. It can transform and generate the face and voice of a person in a video using one photo and about one minute of voice data.
Through this agreement, Woongjin ThinkBig plans to introduce Deep Human technology into augmented reality (AR) reading products such as the 'Interactive Book' and the global brand 'ARPidia' to provide more vivid educational content.
In particular, by utilizing the learner's voice and photo to generate speech in the desired national language and combining it with book stories, it will be possible to have an indirect experience of becoming the protagonist in a fairy tale, thereby increasing interest in learning and reading, Woongjin ThinkBig explained.
Choi Samrak, Head of IT Development at Woongjin ThinkBig, said, "We will cooperate with Cleon, which has excellent deep learning-based technology, to support a more lively learning and reading experience."
