Over 200,000 Signatures Collected for Hosting National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Changwon Branch
Signature Petition to Be Delivered to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism at the End of This Month

Changwon City started a city-wide petition campaign to attract the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art on April 14.
In just over three months, the number of signatures exceeded 200,000. This means that one in five of the 1.03 million Changwon citizens participated.
Public institutions, schools, and companies in the area, as well as the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation and BNK Gyeongnam Bank, also joined the petition.
The city plans to collect citizen signatures until the end of this month and submit a petition to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to attract a branch of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art.
