Military Epidemiological Investigation Team Currently Conducting Detailed Epidemiological Investigation
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam announced that one person who had close contact with a confirmed case from another region tested positive for COVID-19 (Geochang case number 51) on the 21st.
The Geochang case number 51 was found to have had close contact with a confirmed case from another region at a golf course located in a neighboring county on the 15th. The individual visited the public health center's screening clinic on the 20th for testing and was confirmed positive on the 21st. Currently, no symptoms or underlying conditions have been identified.
The county plans to admit the confirmed patient to a residential treatment center, and the county epidemiological investigation team is currently conducting a detailed epidemiological investigation.
Additionally, all close contacts identified so far have been tested and placed under self-quarantine, and disinfection and closure orders have been completed for the confirmed patient's residence and visited locations.
