[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Two former senior officers of the Seoul Gangnam Police Station, who were suspected of 'employee power abuse,' have been given severe disciplinary actions.
According to the police on the 21st, the National Police Agency recently held a disciplinary committee and decided to suspend former Gangnam Station Criminal Division Chief Lieutenant Colonel Lee and former Violent Crimes Unit Chief Inspector Moon for three months each.
They are suspected of making employees pay for meals after dining together and verbally and physically abusing employees. There were also allegations of using work vehicles for personal purposes.
