Seochunsoo, County Governor of Hamyang, Joins Carbon Neutrality Pledge

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] On the morning of the 20th, Seo Chunsu, the mayor of Hamyang County, visited the carbon neutrality education site held in the conference room of the institution and organization office building, encouraged the trainees, and participated in the pledge to practice carbon neutrality for the future of all of us.
The carbon neutrality practice pledge is an activity in which 18 cities and counties in Gyeongnam participate together for the purpose of the "Creating a Safe Gyeongnam Climate Crisis Response Joint Practice Action" promoted by the Hamyang County Volunteer Center, hosted by the Gyeongnam Volunteer Center.
Before signing, Mayor Seo said, "Looking at the contents of the pledge, it consists of things that can be easily practiced with just a little attention in daily life," and added, "I hope the residents will also take an interest and actively participate in actions for carbon neutrality."

The carbon neutrality practice pledge consists of a total of seven actions: ▲ walking or using public transportation for short distances ▲ unplugging unused plugs ▲ maintaining a healthy indoor temperature (26 degrees Celsius in summer, 20 degrees Celsius in winter) ▲ reducing food waste ▲ reducing the use of disposable products and plastics ▲ reducing meat consumption about once a week ▲ separating and disposing of recyclables.
