Damyang Community Self-Sufficiency Center Selected as an Excellent Institution in the Ministry of Health and Welfare's 'Regional Specialized Project'
Evaluation of Self-Sufficiency Projects at 237 Regional Self-Sufficiency Centers Nationwide, 2019-2020
[Damyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] On the 19th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that the Damyang Regional Self-Sufficiency Center's "Regional Specialized Product Wildflower and Namdo Flower Tea Production Scale-up Project" received high praise and was selected as an excellent institution in the evaluation of 237 regional self-sufficiency centers organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
The Ministry of Health and Welfare selected 10 projects nationwide by evaluating the content and operational performance of projects planned and operated by each regional self-sufficiency center. The Damyang center received consistently excellent scores across overall evaluation indicators, confirming its selection as an excellent project institution and the provision of an incentive of 9.5 million won.
The Damyang Regional Self-Sufficiency Center provides stable jobs to 50 people across six project groups through systematic case management for basic livelihood security recipients and lower-income groups, and supports self-reliance through qualification acquisition and asset-building projects.
