Gyeongbuk Province, Summer Vacation Season 'Gyeongju Museum Night'... Night Opening of 6 Museums in Gyeongju
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Gyeongbuk Province announced on the 19th that it will operate the 'Gyeongju Museum Night' program for 22 days from the 20th to August 10th to coincide with the summer vacation and summer holiday season.
According to Gyeongbuk Province, to offer travelers who want to enjoy summer nights more specially while everyone is asleep in the midsummer heat, six museums in Gyeongju, which usually do not open at night, will simultaneously open for the summer.
This program, linked with the Gyeongbuk Tour Pass, is aimed at individual travelers visiting Gyeongju using the Gyeongju Silla Tour Pass (48-hour pass, one of three products including Donggungwon and Donggung and Wolji) of the Gyeongbuk Tour Pass.
The six target museums are the National Gyeongju Museum, Gyeongju Expo Park (Lumina Night Walk), Gyeongju World Automobile Museum, Gyeongju Kidult Museum, Korean Popular Music Museum, and Memory Neighborhood (Modern History Museum).
This program is planned to emphasize 'nighttime,' 'contactless,' and 'individual tourism' so that individual travelers can freely make reservations in advance according to their own schedules during the 22 days of summer nights in Gyeongju, enjoy the relatively less crowded nights in various ways, and travel safely.
