42 New COVID-19 Cases in Gyeongnam... Infections Continue Linked to Entertainment Bars

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 17th that 42 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 occurred in the province after 5 p.m. on the 16th.
By region, there were 19 cases in Changwon, 9 in Gimhae, 8 in Haman, 3 in Miryang, 1 in Sacheon, 1 in Geoje, and 1 in Goseong.
Among the confirmed cases, 6 in Changwon and 8 in Haman are related to the Changwon Masan entertainment bar cluster; 13 are visitors and 1 is an acquaintance.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases related to the Masan entertainment bar to 44.
Six confirmed cases in Gimhae and two in Changwon are related to the Gimhae Entertainment Bar II cluster, including 5 family members and acquaintances, and one each of coworkers, users, and close contacts.
The total number of confirmed cases related to the Gimhae Entertainment Bar II cluster is 140.
Among the remaining 11 confirmed cases in Changwon, 6 are contacts of confirmed cases within the province.
Four are under investigation for infection routes, and one is an overseas entrant.

Among the 3 confirmed cases in Miryang, 2 are family members of confirmed cases within the province who tested positive after developing symptoms during quarantine.

The single confirmed case in Sacheon is an overseas entrant.
The single confirmed case in Geoje is an acquaintance of a confirmed case from another region.
The single confirmed case in Goseong was tested upon personal request, and the infection route is under investigation.
