[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Sumi] "Another morning dawns without you. Did you sleep well, my son?", "To mom, you are still a little kid...".
At the end of last month, the mother of A, a first-year student at a boarding high school in Gangwon Province who left a note saying "I'm not okay, help me" before taking an extreme step, is writing letters every day filled with longing and love for her son, adding to the sorrow.
The mother posts such messages daily on the social networking service (SNS) account that A used while alive.
On the 1st, the mother wrote on this SNS, "My precious second son left this world due to collective school violence and bullying. He was only seventeen years old." She then revealed the note A left before passing away.
The note A intended to send to someone read, "When I look at the sky, tears just come out, so I can't even look up," "What else can I do besides pretending to be okay," and "Maybe I'm not okay, help me."
A week later, the mother revealed A's second note on SNS. She wrote on the 8th, "It hurts my heart, but I will reveal your second note," adding, "People need to know how long you suffered and how hard it was."
In the second note, A wrote, "How can those people on the street look so bright? I can't, so I always imagine going to that place."
The mother said, "The moment I unfolded this crumpled note, it felt like my heart stopped." She added, "I resent everything and feel angry. Truly, living is not living."
Besides this, the mother expresses her deep longing on A's SNS, saying "I love you, I miss you, I want to hug you," while also pleading, "Please don't forget until the injustice is resolved," and shouting about the seriousness of school violence and the need to uncover the truth, saying, "I will definitely reveal the truth."
