View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Jiwon] The Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) announced on the 16th that it has launched a 'Self-Diagnosis System for Guarantee Execution Claim Requirements' for tenants who have subscribed to the Jeonse Deposit Return Guarantee.
The self-diagnosis system was established to prevent infringement of rights or loss of opposability regarding the deposit by allowing tenants to pre-assess whether they continuously meet the guarantee execution claim requirements from the date the guarantee is issued until the claim is made.
Tenants who have subscribed to the Jeonse Deposit Guarantee can check precautions such as rights infringement on Jeonse deposit claims and acquisition or loss of opposability on the housing through the 'Self-Diagnosis System' on the HUG website to prevent the loss of guarantee effectiveness.
Additionally, tenants can verify in advance the necessary requirements for making a guarantee execution claim, such as notifying the landlord of the termination of the Jeonse contract and registering the housing lease rights, thereby reducing concerns about the return of the Jeonse deposit and enabling prompt claims to HUG in case of guarantee incidents due to non-return of the deposit.
