Yeonggwang-gun to Recruit 'Returning Farmers and Villagers Local Writers' Until the 30th
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 15th that it is recruiting 'Return-to-Farming and Return-to-Village Local Writers' until the 30th.
A Return-to-Farming and Return-to-Village Local Writer refers to supporters, mainly among return-to-farming and return-to-village residents, who post about rural life introduction, discovering livable villages, and successful cases of return-to-farming and return-to-village on their personal social network services (SNS).
This year’s new project, the operation of Return-to-Farming and Return-to-Village Local Writers, selects village residents who have returned to farming or village life as local writers to regularly produce and provide regional information content related to return-to-farming and return-to-village, aiming to revitalize the attraction of urban residents. The plan is to expand the operation further next year.
Anyone who is a resident of Yeonggwang-gun can apply, with priority given to return-to-farming and return-to-village individuals.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the Yeonggwang-gun Agricultural Technology Center with the application form and supporting documents or by email.
A county official said, “In an era where attracting urban residents is not a choice but a necessity due to population decline and aging in rural areas, we expect local writers to actively communicate with urban residents and serve as guides so that many urban residents can settle stably through return-to-farming and return-to-village.”
