BlackRock Beats Q2 Earnings Estimates... Revenue Up 32% YoY
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suhwan] Global asset management firm BlackRock announced its second-quarter earnings for this year on the 14th (local time), surpassing expectations.
According to BlackRock's announcement, it posted revenue of $4.82 billion (approximately 5.5 trillion KRW) in the second quarter. This represents an increase of about 32% compared to the same period last year and exceeds the market forecast of $4.63 billion (approximately 5.32 trillion KRW).
Additionally, BlackRock reported an operating profit of $1.38 billion (approximately 1.587 trillion KRW) for the second quarter. The earnings per share amounted to $8.92.
