Quiet KOSPI... Sideways Movement Around 3250 Level
KOSDAQ Remains in the 1040 Range

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] The KOSPI has remained slightly weak since the market opened, staying in the 3250 range. The KOSDAQ also shows little movement, appearing to move sideways.
As of 1:36 PM on the 14th, the KOSPI recorded 3,258.25, down 0.40% compared to the previous day. After opening slightly lower at 3,270.09, it has maintained the 3,250 level.
Amid net selling by foreigners and institutions, individuals continue to be the sole net buyers. Foreigners and institutions net sold 260.3 billion KRW and 183.2 billion KRW respectively, while individuals net bought 468.1 billion KRW.
Many sectors declined. The order was transportation and warehousing (-1.71%), medical precision (-1.21%), construction (-1.16%), and banking (-0.97%). Non-metallic minerals (0.81%), distribution (0.79%), and steel & metals (0.39%) also fell.
The KOSDAQ rose 0.03% from the previous day to 1,043.61. After opening at 1,043.50, up 0.02% from the previous day, it showed little fluctuation.
Again, individuals were the sole net buyers with purchases worth 129 billion KRW. Foreigners and institutions net sold 35.2 billion KRW and 78.6 billion KRW respectively.

In the KOSDAQ market, more sectors rose slightly. The paper and wood sector had the largest increase at 1.46%. This was followed by general electrical and electronics (1.36%), IT components (1.35%), information devices (1.35%), and food & tobacco (1.08%), all rising over 1%. Broadcasting services (-2.00%), publishing & media replication (-1.92%), and telecommunications broadcasting services (-1.11%) declined.
