KT Alpha Delivers COVID-19 Prevention Supplies to Local Communities
KT Alpha donated COVID-19 prevention supplies worth 11 million KRW to children, adolescents, and elderly people from vulnerable groups.
View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] KT Alpha announced on the 14th that it conducted a 'Generous Donation' campaign to practice community sharing, donating COVID-19 prevention supplies worth 11 million KRW to children, adolescents, and elderly in need.
KT Alpha and the KT Group Hope Sharing Foundation combined the proceeds from the first simultaneous live broadcast sales on the K Shopping mobile-TV app last month with the voluntarily raised 'No Sarang Fund' by employees to deliver 40,000 Wellkeeps untact summer masks to 41 Seoul child group homes, the Seoul Teenage Women's Health Center, and elderly welfare centers in Yangcheon-gu and Gwanak-gu.
For the Seoul group homes, with which they have maintained a partnership and support activities since 2018, additional disinfection, sterilization, and insecticide prevention sets were provided to 20 locations with aging housing and many young children. Additionally, coding robots Dash and Ozobot were donated so that students could directly control coding robots via smartphones or tablet PCs to enjoy soccer and basketball and learn coding easily and enjoyably.
