Jeju Fire Station Delivers 58 Bags of Rice to Idoildong Community Center
[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] Jeju Fire Station (Chief Ko Jae-woo) announced on the 13th that it delivered 58 bags (580 kg) of 'Love Sharing Rice' to the Ido 2-dong Community Center.
This 'Love Sharing Rice' was prepared with rice received instead of congratulatory wreaths for the inauguration of Jeju Fire Station Chief Ko Jae-woo, as well as rice donated bit by bit by Provincial Assemblyman Moon Jong-tae and Ko Hyang-sim, Chairman of the Fire Volunteer Association at the station.
Jeju Fire Station Chief Ko Jae-woo said, "I hope the rice delivered to neighbors going through difficult times due to the recent resurgence of COVID-19 can offer some small comfort," and added, "We will continue to take an interest in the local community and actively participate in support."
