COVID-19 Vaccinations Begin at Designated Medical Institutions for People in Their 50s in Q3
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 12th that it will conduct COVID-19 vaccination for residents in their 50s according to the Disease Control and Prevention Agency's July vaccination implementation plan.
The vaccination target is those aged 50 to 59, with priority given to middle-aged people in their 50s considering the risk factors such as age-specific comorbidity rates.
Considering the amount and timing of vaccine supply, those aged 55 to 59 can receive vaccination at their chosen designated medical institution from July 26 to August 7, and those aged 50 to 54 can receive it from August 9 to August 21 on the date they reserved.
For the Moderna vaccine, two doses are required, and the second dose is automatically scheduled four weeks after the first dose.
