312 Confirmed Cases at Temporary Screening Clinics... 289 in the Seoul Metropolitan Area
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Due to the fourth wave of COVID-19, confirmed cases continue to emerge at temporary screening clinics nationwide.
According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters (CDCH) on the 10th, a total of 312 new confirmed cases tested positive for COVID-19 at temporary screening clinics across the country the previous day. Among them, 289 cases were confirmed in the Seoul metropolitan area, and 23 cases were confirmed in non-metropolitan areas.
The 289 cases in the metropolitan area account for 21.9% of the 1,320 new locally transmitted cases recorded as of midnight that day. Compared to the 1,021 locally transmitted cases in the metropolitan area, this represents about 28.3%.

On the previous day, a total of 84,722 tests were conducted at temporary screening clinics. Since December of last year, a total of 20,486 confirmed cases have been identified through these temporary screening clinics.
