MK Secures Follow-up Investment After Pre-Series A... "Will Target Overseas Markets"
[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] MK, a vehicle aftermarket startup, announced on the 9th that it has secured follow-up funding for its pre-Series A round. Investors such as Credit Guarantee Fund and New Paradigm Investment participated.
MK is a startup operating the remote vehicle disinfection service "Oasis" and the washer fluid brand "Kagle." Oasis provides optimized disinfection services for vehicles through external remote control. During the disinfection process, data related to disinfection is automatically collected via sensors.
Kagle is a washer fluid product in the form of a concentrated cartridge. It was inspired by the fact that most washer fluids are contained in 1.8L PET bottles, causing environmental issues. MK supplies Kagle, with a 20L capacity, to about 1,200 locations nationwide, including car service centers. According to the company, one concentrated cartridge can replace up to 50 conventional PET bottle washer fluids.
Byun Mooyoung, CEO of MK, said, "We are expanding our offline automotive product lineup," adding, "We will build a platform to target emerging overseas markets such as Vietnam and Russia."
