[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk (Governor Shim Min) announced on the 8th that on the 7th, it held the event "The Time We Loved Youth, the Second" with about 50 youths attending to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of the opening of the Youth Culture House.
The event, held to comfort the weary hearts of youth due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and to encourage the strength to overcome the crisis, was conducted with safety as the top priority and strictly adhered to COVID-19 prevention guidelines.
Under the theme "Go! Go! Go! Towards Our Dreams! The Time We Loved Youth, the Second," the 2nd anniversary event featured a special event, a time capsule youth memory-making activity titled "A Letter to Myself in 3 Years," where participants sealed their stories in a memory box.
The event also included the purpose of allowing participating youths to feel how much they have grown when they reunite at the same place in three years, adding deeper meaning.
The program was composed of various activities to enjoy, including an expert session with craft and perfume-making instructors, and psychological tests "Maumssi (See)" from the Youth Counseling Welfare Center.
Additionally, for youths who could not attend due to distance, the Imsil Youth Broadcasting Station conducted a live broadcast so that everyone could participate.
Governor Shim Min said, "I hope that youths, exhausted from COVID-19 and studies, will recover healthy minds through this event and gain the strength to overcome crises," and added, "We will continue to actively support youths to grow through various activities."
