President Moon: "There is Much to Learn from the Netherlands in Innovative Technology and Renewable Energy"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] President Moon Jae-in sent a message of thanks via social network service (SNS) to Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the Netherlands, with whom he held a virtual summit the day before.
On the morning of the 8th, President Moon replied to Prime Minister Rutte's SNS post announcing the Korea-Netherlands summit, expressing gratitude by saying, "We confirmed that our two countries share many values and have a strong will to further strengthen our friendship and trust."
President Moon said, "The Netherlands is a grateful country that sent many troops during the Korean War and made noble sacrifices," adding, "Now, it has become our most important trading and investment partner among EU countries."
