Muan-gun Hosts Youth Policy Idea Contest
A Total of 17 Selected... Applications Accepted Until the 31st
[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Jeonnam Muan-gun (Governor Kim San) announced on the 6th that it will hold an idea contest to discover youth-experience-oriented policies.
The contest themes include new youth policies to improve the quality of life for young people, attracting youth population, and overcoming low birth rates such as marriage, childbirth, and childcare.
Any individual or group of young people aged 19 to 45 interested in youth policies can participate, and the application deadline is until the 31st of this month.
Those who wish to apply can refer to the county website, prepare a proposal, and submit it by visiting the Regional Economy Division of the county office, or by mail or email.
The county plans to select a total of 17 winners through this contest and will award a total prize of 5 million KRW in September, including one grand prize of 1 million KRW, two excellence awards of 500,000 KRW each, along with the governor's certificate.
Governor Kim San said, "We expect many fresh and innovative ideas to emerge as young people participate in the planning from the policy establishment stage through this contest," and added, "Based on the results of this contest, we will expand and strengthen policies in five areas?employment, welfare, housing, education, and rights participation?that can guarantee the lives of young people."
