Seoul 'Mapo·Gangnam Restaurant Cluster Infection' Total 69 Cases

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] The number of confirmed cases from the 'Mapo-gu and Gangnam-gu restaurant cluster infections' in Seoul has increased to 69 nationwide.
According to Seoul City on the 4th, three additional confirmed cases were reported in Seoul the previous day due to this cluster infection, bringing the total number of positive cases in the Seoul area to 60. In other regions, nine people have tested positive.
The first confirmed case of this cluster infection was a Gangnam-gu restaurant worker who tested positive on the 4th of last month. Following this, excluding the first confirmed case, 369 people were tested, of whom 68 were confirmed positive and the remaining 301 tested negative.
Among the total 69 confirmed cases, including the first confirmed case, six are restaurant workers, 41 are restaurant visitors, 17 are their family members and acquaintances, three are other related cases, and two are secondary infections.
Seoul City is conducting in-depth epidemiological investigations to trace the infection routes while identifying and classifying contacts to guide them to get tested.
