[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] President Moon Jae-in has revealed seven puppies of the Pungsan dog 'Gomi' that came from North Korea. Gomi is the female of a pair of Pungsan dogs (Gomi and Songgang) gifted by the North Korean side to South Korea during the 2018 inter-Korean summit.
On the 3rd, President Moon stated through a social network service (SNS) message, "Gomi, the Pungsan dog from North Korea, has given birth to seven puppies with Maru, the Pungsan dog we originally had."
He mentioned that the puppies were born about four weeks ago.
President Moon said, "They are all growing up healthily and have already started eating weaning food, but one puppy, born through a difficult labor, is still not eating well, so I am feeding it milk little by little," and shared a photo of himself holding the puppy and feeding it milk.
He also posted photos of the "wriggling puppies" and said, "With seven of them, it's not easy to come up with names."
