LG Invests 100 Billion KRW Stake in Kakao Mobility
[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Cho] LG announced on the 2nd that it will invest 100 billion KRW in shares of the mobility platform Kakao Mobility.
LG stated, "From the perspective of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management, we decided on this investment to secure battery driving data from LG Energy Solution, battery swapping, and electric vehicle charging solutions from LG Electronics through cooperation with Kakao Mobility, aiming to explore new business opportunities in the future mobility sector for LG affiliates."
