Daegu-style After-school Gap Care Pilot Program to Begin This Month
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Ju Cheol-in] Daegu City announced on the 1st that it will pilot the 'Daegu-style After-school Gap Care' project to respond to the public care demand for children and minimize care gaps.
This project reflects the results of the 'Research Service for Establishing After-school Child Care Policies Desired by Citizens.'
Starting today, the city plans to provide comprehensive after-school care services such as 'emergency, temporary, nighttime, and weekend care,' 'vacation care,' and 'gap care' through 40 local care institutions.
Any child residing in Daegu can use the service free of charge.
