Prosecutors Indict Kang Yong-seok on Charges of Coercing Dodomom to File False Complaints
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daehyun] Lawyer Kang Yongseok (52), who is suspected of instigating blogger 'Dodommom' Kim Mina to file a false accusation, will face trial.
According to the legal community on the 1st, the Criminal Division 1 of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Byun Pilgeon) indicted Lawyer Kang without detention at the end of last month on charges of instigating false accusation. The case against Lawyer Kang has been assigned to the Criminal Division 18 Single Judge Court of the Seoul Central District Court.
Lawyer Kang is accused of having instigated Kim in 2015 to accuse Mr. A, a head of a certain securities company, of rape resulting in injury.
Previously, Dispatch disclosed messenger conversations between Lawyer Kang and Kim last year, raising suspicions that Lawyer Kang urged Kim to make a false accusation for the purpose of a settlement.

The disclosed conversation at the time showed that Kim repeatedly emphasized that although she was assaulted by Mr. A, there was no sexual molestation or rape.
