Mayor Heo Seong-mu Secures 1.1 Billion KRW Special Grant for Independence Movement Memorial Hall Construction
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 1st that it has secured a special grant of 1.1 billion KRW for the 'Changwon City Independence Movement Memorial Hall Construction Project.'
The construction of the Independence Movement Memorial Hall is a project to build a historical experience education center to inherit the spirit of independence in the area of the patriotic martyrs' shrine in Imgok-ri, Jinjeon-myeon, Masanhappo-gu.
To this end, Mayor Heo Seong-mu has actively requested support for the special grant through holding policy cooperation meetings with local members of the National Assembly and meetings with the Minister of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
As a result, in the first half of this year, 1.1 billion KRW in special grants was secured for the 'Changwon City Independence Movement Memorial Hall Construction Project.'
