Gyeongnam Province Launches Inspections of Over 2,900 Lodging Facilities Ahead of Summer Vacation Season
From Strengthening Public Hygiene Service Standards to Easing Vacation Spot Crowding
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do is conducting inspections and guidance on about 2,900 lodging establishments until September 17 in preparation for the summer vacation season.
This inspection is part of the central government joint "Comfortable and Safe Summer Vacation Measures in the COVID-19 Era."
In connection with the social distancing system reform implemented from July, compliance with regulations at lodging establishments in the region will be checked during the peak summer vacation season.

The main inspection items include whether business (change) reports have been filed, facility standards such as cooking and ventilation at lodging establishments, compliance with cleanliness of rooms and bedding, prohibition of exceeding the room capacity for lodging reservations, and whether illegal cameras are installed in lodging establishments.
